It's been a while since my last post.  School has kept me very busy.  During the last few months I only had the chance to travel up to the Bay Area.  It's where I went to university and I've always loved the environment.  This trip I only had one day free.  So my friend and I decided to drive down to Carmel (from San Jose) for a day at Point Lobos State Reserve. 

My friend is an experienced hiker who's left footprints in Machu Picchu and Torres del Paine.  Me, on the other hand, don't own any hiking shoes and has never spent a night in a tent.  Point Lobos is perfect for my level of hiking inexperience.  The trails were easy.  We took our time stopping at beautiful points for photo opps and a leisurely picnic.
